Percussionista
Pedro Oliveira começou a sua carreira como baterista em 1995, poucos anos antes de integrar Kafka, banda de referência na pop alternativa portuguesa que teve o seu auge na viragem para os anos 2000. Integrou os Submarine e, mais tarde, Green Machine, banda garage-rock com quem edita vários discos. Mais tarde, formou os Peixe:Avião, considerada como uma das mais emblemáticas bandas do novo rock cantado em português. Paralelamente, cria Dear Telephone, com André Simão, Graciela Coelho e Ricardo Cibrão, e OZO, com o pianista Paulo Mesquita, e atua ao vivo com regularidade nos projetos Old Jerusalem e Osso Vaidoso. Recentemente, atua ao vivo com Clã e Rui Reininho. Em 2018, desloca-se a Bristol para a gravação do disco de estreia de Krake, projeto a solo onde conta com a participação de nomes como Jim Barr (Portishead), Jake McMurchie (Portishead-live/Massive Attack) e Pete Judge (Get the Blessing/Noel Gallagher-live).
Pedro Oliveira began his career as a drummer in 1995, a few years before joining Kafka, a landmark band in Portuguese alternative pop that reached its peak around the turn of the 2000s. He went on to play with Submarine and later Green Machine, a garage-rock band with whom he released several records.
Later, he formed Peixe:Avião, regarded as one of the most emblematic bands of the new wave of Portuguese-language rock. At the same time, he created Dear Telephone (with André Simão, Graciela Coelho, and Ricardo Cibrão) and OZO (with pianist Paulo Mesquita), and he performs regularly with the projects Old Jerusalem and Osso Vaidoso.
More recently, he has performed live with Clã and Rui Reininho. In 2018, he traveled to Bristol to record the debut album of Krake, his solo project featuring contributions from artists such as Jim Barr (Portishead), Jake McMurchie (Portishead-live / Massive Attack), and Pete Judge (Get the Blessing / Noel Gallagher-live).
