Luís Vicente é um trompetista, compositor e improvisador português radicado em Lisboa, reconhecido internacionalmente pela sua atuação no jazz de vanguarda e na música improvisada. A sua obra integra uma ampla gama de projetos que cruzam livre improvisação, composição estruturada e exploração sonora, evidenciando uma linguagem expressiva, sensível ao timbre e orientada pelo coletivo. O artista liderou formações como o Luís Vicente Trio e o Luís Vicente 4tet, com o qual gravou o álbum House in the Valley (Clean Feed Records, 2023), documentando improvisações expansivas registadas na igreja das Caldas da Rainha — espaço que também acolhe SPIRITS MOVING. No seu percurso discográfico incluem‑se ainda projetos como Maré (Cipela Records, 2020) e colaborações com nomes como John Dikeman, William Parker e Hamid Drake em albums como Goes without Saying, but It’s Got to Be Said (JACC Records, 2020) e o mais recente No Kings!
