



Ketija Ringa-Karahona é uma flautista letã sediada nos Países Baixos desde 2019. Em 2025 concluiu o seu mestrado no departamento de Jazz do Conservatorium van Amsterdam após vários anos de formação clássica. Colaborou com artistas proeminentes no universo do jazz e da música improvisada, tais como Petter Eldh, Kit Downes, Mary Halvorson, Reinier Baas, Ernst Reijseger e Pablo Held, entre outros. Para além disso, conta também com vários prémios e menções ao longo da sua carreira, como Keep An Eye Outstanding Talent Award (2022) e Laren Jazz Award (2023), mas também recipiente do Edison Award 2025 como parte do Kika Sprangers Large Ensemble.
Ketija Ringa-Karahona is a Latvian flautist who has been based in the Netherlands since 2019. In 2025, she completed her master’s degree in the Jazz Department at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam following several years of classical training. She has collaborated with prominent artists in the world of jazz and improvised music, such as Petter Eldh, Kit Downes, Mary Halvorson, Reinier Baas, Ernst Reijseger and Pablo Held, amongst others. In addition, she has received several awards and honours throughout her career, including the Keep An Eye Outstanding Talent Award (2022) and the Laren Jazz Award (2023), and was also a recipient of the 2025 Edison Award as part of the Kika Sprangers Large Ensemble.
